Buying online is very easy
Follow these steps
1. Register with us
We assign you a physical address in the United States that you will use when shopping online.
2. Buy in online stores
You make the purchase in the online store (Amazon, eBay, etc.) and enter the address provided by us as the delivery address. We will receive your package at your address in the USA and process it for shipment to Costa Rica.
3. Transportation, payment of taxes and delivery
We ship your package to Costa Rica and notify you when it arrives in the country. You pay the transportation costs and the corresponding import taxes. Finally, we deliver the package to your office or home.

Consolidation of packages in a single box, a viable option for the purchase of products from multiple suppliers. You can fill it your way and taste, assemble your box with your family and friends!
Investment fee
We have a fixed rate for our box. The dimensions of our box are 45x30x35cm. Contact us for more information! We will receive your package at your address in the USA and process it for shipment to Costa Rica.
3. Estimated delivery date
Our La Vuelta maritime box takes 15 - 22 days* from the day of shipment in the United States. The box will be sent to Costa Rica, until the last delivery is received.**
*Deliveries outside the GAM, take a little longer; Correos de CR or encomienda.
**Please note that packages sent by sea, are made only on Thursdays.
You pay the transportation costs and the corresponding import taxes.
Finally, we deliver the package to your office or home.

Air Transportation
1. Ideal packages
Airfreight is efficient for small or light items, such as electronics, clothing or accessories, needing fast delivery.
Investment fee
The price is calculated by weight (kilo). Ideal for light and lightweight packages.
3. Estimated delivery date
Excellent option for light products, with the need for fast delivery. Duration of 7- 10 days* (within GAM) from day of embarkation in U.S. warehouse.
*Deliveries outside GAM take a little more time; Correos de CR or encomienda.

The most economical option for large or bulky loads, perfect for bulk purchases.

Maritime Transportation
1. Lower cost for large or heavy shipments
Ocean freight is ideal for bulky cargo, as its price per kilo or volume is significantly cheaper compared to air freight.
2. Longer delivery times
You make the purchase in the online store (Amazon, eBay, etc.) and enter the address provided by us as the delivery address. We will receive your package at your address in the USA and process it for shipment to Costa Rica.
3. Cargo Consolidation
We offer consolidation services, where several packages are grouped into a single shipment to reduce costs. This is useful if you make multiple purchases in different stores. You pay the transport costs and the corresponding import taxes. Finally, we deliver the package to your office or home.

Which items cannot I send?
It is prohibited to ship hazardous substances, perishable goods, illegal items, cash and high-value jewelry.
Hazardous Materials
- Explosives, ammunition, fireworks.
- Hazardous or toxic chemicals.
- Compressed gases and flammable liquids.
- Radioactive or biohazardous material.
Controlled Substances
- Illegal drugs, narcotics and restricted non-prescription drugs.
- Plants, seeds, food or agricultural products subject to sanitary restrictions.
3. Internationally Prohibited or Restricted Goods
- Counterfeit products or piracy (clothing, technology, etc.).
- Cultural, historical or heritage objects.
- Protected flora and fauna (including items made from endangered species, such as ivory or skins).
4. Defense and Security Articles
- Firearms and related parts.
- Military equipment or spying devices (including unauthorized drones).
5. Inflammatory Products
- Damaged or improperly packaged lithium batteries.

What are the rates?
Our rates depend on the weight, dimensions and destination of the package. You can use our online rate calculator to get an estimate.
What types of packages can I send?
Documents: Envelopes and stationery that do not contain prohibited items. Ideal for letters, contracts or urgent documentation.
Small packages: Personal or commercial items, such as clothing, accessories, books, or electronic devices.
Bulky goods: Larger or heavier products, such as small furniture, household appliances, or industrial equipment.
Specialty items: Delicate or valuable products such as jewelry, artwork, or fragile devices. These may require additional packaging and services.
What do I do if my package is lost or damaged?
Packages Marked Delivered:
- If the package is listed as delivered to our warehouse in the U.S. with a registered signature, the item will be replaced as needed.
A copy of the delivery record confirming receipt at the warehouse will be required to process the replacement.
Packages without Delivery Record:
- If there is no record of delivery to the warehouse or it cannot be confirmed through the tracking system, the company will not assume responsibility for the item or cover its replacement.
In these cases, the customer should contact the original shipper or carrier to resolve the problem.
Claims Process:
- Notify the company within 7 business days of identifying the problem.
- Provide the necessary information, such as tracking number, purchase invoice for the item, and shipping details.
Exclusions:
The policy does not apply if the package includes restricted items, incorrect shipping information, or if the problem arises from external causes not attributable to the company.
Can I change the delivery address?
Yes, you can request a change of address before the package is shipped. An additional cost applies depending on the case.
What times are you available for delivery?
We make two types of deliveries: inside and outside the GAM.
Within GAM: Monday to Saturday / 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
To the door of your home through our transportation service LVCR.
Outside of GAM: we deliver your package from Monday to Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. The estimated delivery time will depend on this last transportation provider. The cost will be assumed by the customer.
